Flooding in Zambia

Early February we received a text message from our partners in Zambia, John and Beauty. Their compound where the live and do ministry was flooded due to excessive rain. The storm tore off the roof, ruined ministry equipment like the speaker, spoiled their mattresses, and more.

We were devastated at the ruined possessions and wanted to help replace them so they could continue in ministry. We sent out an email for help, trusting that the Lord would put it on each person’s heart to give. We knew that whatever the amount that came in would be what the Lord wanted them to have.

You heard their cry for help and you provided well beyond what we could have imagined. Because of you, Beauty and John have been able to fix their roof, replace ministry supplies and household items. Your overabundance of gifts allowed them to also bless those in their church who endured flooding as well. Thank you!

In response John and Beauty wanted us to tell you thank you. They wrote, “We would like to express our sincere gratitude for the generous gift you gave for the needed things we lost during the torrential rains [that] we experienced a few weeks ago…. We know it has not been easy [for you since COVID], yet you all sacrificed to help us… From us all, we are saying may the Lord Almighty Bless all of you in Jesus Name.”
